Following Principals had gathered at Holy Angel School, Hisar for the meeting. 1. Mr. Mathew Varghese : M.D.M.M.S. Bagla, Hisar 2. Mrs. Anita Bhandari : The Aryan School, Hisar 3. Mr. N.S. Sehrawat : Holy Angels School, Hisar 4. Mr. Vikram Singh : D.A.V. Police Public School, Hisar 5. Mr. Balwinder Singh : Sukhram Memorial School, Kalirawan, Hisar 6. Mr. Parveen Patpatia : Thakur Dass Bhargawa Senior Sec. Model School 7. Mr. Harish Sachdeva : D.P.S. Hisar 8. Mr. Atul Jagga : Darshan Academy 9. Mr. M.S. Payal : Cosmos Public School 10. Mr. Raj Ahuja : St. Sophia Sr. Sec. School 11. Ms. Sushma Godara : C.R. Public School 12. Mr. Rakesh Chander : Vishwas Sen. Sec. School 1. Chairperson: Mr. Parveen Patpatia, the president presided over the meeting. 2. Quorum for the Meeting: Chairperson declared the quorum being present. 3. Leave of Absence: Twelve members were present. 4. Confirmation of the Minutes of the Previous General Body Meeting: Minutes of the previous General Body Meeting held on 22 February, 2014 at M.D.M.M.S. Bagla was read out by the secretary Mr. Mathew Varghese. The members considered and approved the same. 5. Welcome of New Members: Three new members were welcomed by the General Body. They were Mr. M.S. Payal from Cosmos Public School, Dr. Rakesh Chander from Vishwas Se. Sec. School and Mr. Raj Ahuja from St. Sophia Sen. Sec. School. They were given membership of Hisar Sahodaya. 6. Inter School Athletic Meet: With the permission of the chair the members brain stormed and unanimously approved the following: I. The Athletic Meet will be held at Sukhram Memorial School, Kalirawan on Adampur Road on 18th October, 2014 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM II. Following events will be held Under 14- Boys & Girls: 100m, 200m, 800m, Relay 4X100,Long Jump & High Jump. Under 16- Boys & Girls: 100m, 200m, 800m, Relay 4X100, Long Jump, High Jump, Discus Throw. Under 19- Boys & Girls: 100m, 200m, 800m, Relay 4X100, Long Jump, High Jump, Discus Throw, Shotput. III. Participating school has to register online10 days in advance. IV. One participant can participate in two individual events excluding relay. One reserve participant can be sent in each event by the member school. V. March past with school flag is compulsory for the participating school. VI. An organising committee for the meet has been set up. Following are the members: Mr. Parveen- Sukhram Memorial School Mr. K.K. Mandal- D.P.S. Mr. Rajesh Shora- Holy Angel School Ms. Kamlesh- M.D.M.M.S. VII. The other details will be worked out by the organising committee and will be circulated to the member schools. 7. Teachers Training Programme in the Sahodaya: With the permission of the chair the members discussed various teacher training programme which can be organised within Sahodaya. Mr. Mathew Varghese the Secretary assured the members that he would mail the agencies details to the member schools who wish to send the teachers for the various workshop. The members also requested Mr. N.S. Sehrawat, the Principal, Holy Angel School to conduct a C.C.E. Workshop for the Social Science teachers which he readily accepted. The members approved the same. 8. Latest C.B.S.E. Circulars: The members also discussed the latest C.B.S.E. circulars including O.T.B.A. & Class IX Retest. 9. Next General Body Meeting: It was proposed to hold next General Body Meeting on 20th August, 2014 at D.P.S. Hisar. The members considered and approved the same. 10. Vote of Thanks: The meeting ended with a vote of thanks to the chair.
