Following Principals had gathered at Moga Devi Minda Memorial School, Bagla, Hisar. 1. Mr. Mathew Varghese : M.D.M.M.S. Bagla, Hisar 2. Mrs. Anita Bhandari : The Aryan School, Hisar 3. Mrs. Sunita Behl : I.D.D.A.V. School, Hisar 4. Mr. N.S. Sehrawat : Holy Angels School, Hisar 5. Mrs. Neeru Bhatia : Shri Krishna Pranami School, Hisar 6. Mr. Rajender Sachdeva : D.A.V. Police Public School, Hisar 7. Mr. Balwinder Singh : Sukhram Memorial School, Kalirawan, Hisar I. Chairperson: Mrs. Anita Bhandari, Vice President, presided over the meeting. II. Quorum for the Meeting: Chairperson declared the quorum being present. III. Leave of Absence: Seven members were present. IV. Confirmation of the Minutes of the Previous General Body Meeting: Minutes of the last General Body Meeting held on 23rd October, 2013 was read out by Mr. N.S. Sehrawat, the treasurer to the members for confirmation. The members considered and confirmed the same. V. Registration work of Sahodaya with the District Registrar, Hisar: Mr. Mathew Varghese, the Secretary briefed the members the progress made in the registration of Hisar Sahodaya with District Society Registration, Hisar. The District Registrar , Societies has approved the name of the society i.e. “Hisar Sahodaya Schools.” In order to submit form II for the registration of the society, every member has to submit 2 copies of I.D. Proof and two photographs. These will be submitted along with the memorandum and bye laws of Sahodaya. The members present had submitted the I.D. Proofs and photographs to the secretary. VI. Formation of Sexual Harassment Committee Against Women, Employees & Girl Students: The members had a brain storm on this topic. A copy of the Vishakha judgement had been circulated to the members. It was agreed on the basis of Visakha judgement of the apex court that it is compulsory for the educational institution to form a committee. Committee will be headed by a woman. 50% members should be women and a representative of support staff and a third party N.G.O. should also be included. VII. Latest C.B.S.E. Circulars: The members also discussed the latest C.B.S.E. circulars. Especially P.S.A., O.T.B.A. and online submission of marks of F.As & S.As of grade X. VIII. Inter school Competition 2014-15: the members after a brain storm decided to have the following competitions for the session 2014-15: 1. Inter School Declamation Contest: This will be hosted by MDMMS, Bagla as there is a rolling trophy. 2. Inter School Athletic Meet: Mr. Balwinder Singh, Principal, Sukhram Memorial School volunteered to host the event as they have a 400 meter track. This will be held in the month of October after the S.A. II. The mebers also unanimously agreed to charge a nominal entry fee of Rs. 50/ per participant, so that the host school will not have the financial burden. A three members committee of sports teachers had prepared guidelines for the conduct of athletic meet which was circulated to the members. A four member sports committee was set up to frame the rules & regulations for the event. The following sports teachers are its members: 1. Mrs. Kamlesh : MDMMS 2. Mr. Anil : Holy Angels School 3. Mr. Munish : D.P.S. 4. Mr. Sharvan Malik : Darshan Academy IX. Feedback of Declamation: The members appreciated the manner in which the first Sahodaya Inter School Declamation Contest was organized by MDMMS, Bagla- Mr. Mathew Varghese asked the members to give their feedback for the further improvement. It was decided to hold the Declamation Contest at the end of January, 2015. The members congratulated Mrs. Bhandari (The Aryan School) for bagging the over all trophy. X.Submission of `Form VI` & Online submission of `Declaration Form` (Student Monitoring System): The members felt that the member school should not be hostile to the district administration. The member school should comply with the letters sent from the Education Department, Haryana, Especially Form VI & the details asked under student monitoring system XI. Website: it was decided to make the website of Hisar Sahodaya. The members authorized Mr. Parveen Patpatia, the President to negotiate the rate. The secretary would provide the necessary write up. XII. Next General Body Meeting: it was proposed to hold the next General Body Meeting on 14th May, 2014 at Holy Angels School, Hisar. The members considered and approved the same. XIII. Vote of Thanks: The meeting ended with a vote of thanks to the chair.
